Rational Numbers

Rational numbers are integers plus fractions.

In other words number is rational, if it can be written as fraction pq\frac{{p}}{{q}} (we know that every integer m{m} can be written as fraction m1\frac{{m}}{{1}}).

So, -4, -10, 0, 2, 23, 45-\frac{{4}}{{5}}, 325-{3}\frac{{2}}{{5}}, 157-\frac{{15}}{{7}}, 23\frac{{2}}{{3}}, 94\frac{{9}}{{4}}, 51011{5}\frac{{10}}{{11}} are all rational numbers.

Thus, rational numbers include

Set of rational numbers, i.e. group of rational numbers, is denoted by Q\mathbb{Q}.
